Famous Scorpio-Ophiuchus Birthdays & Transition Dates

Frank Sinatra | December 12, 1915 - May 14, 1998

To Earth with Love ~

To help us gain some insight into the personalities and attributes of Scorpio-Ophiuchus natives, I’ve begun compiling a list of famous people who have Scorpius or Ophiuchus birthdays.

Some people on this list do not have a qualifying birth date but have a date of passing that does qualify. Transition dates are a telling detail that speaks to the question of how the person lived and what kind of next-life karma has been earned.

Some of the dates are “boundary conditions.” Boundary date birthdays might find the Sun in Scorpio or Ophiuchus today but hundreds of years ago the Sun might have been in another constellation. This occurs as a result of Precession of the Equinoxes.

Also, the constellations do not begin and end like nice, neat orange slices cutting up the celestial sphere. For instance, a person’s natal Sun can be just across the Ophiuchus boundary in Sagittarius but still be very much in align with prominent stars of Constellation Ophiuchus. Therefore planets on either side of a constellation boundary often impart distinguishing characteristics that explain idiosyncrasies and eccentricities associated with another Sun Sign. So I’ve left some boundary dates on the list.

List not exhaustive – to be continued

This list is not complete but it’s a pretty good start. I will add to it as I come across new names and faces to add to it. I will also try to make the list easier to browse sometime when I’m between projects and looking for busy work ;-)

In the meantime, if you become aware of famous persons that should be added to it, please leave me a comment.

This list is woefully short on Scorpio-Ophiuchus women!!

Thanks :-)

About Donna

I initiated my mysticism & occult path with a course in Astrology from the Rosicrucian Fellowship in 1970. In 1987 as I was preparing to become a professional Astrologer I bought a sky atlas for fun and found constellation Ophiuchus walking along the zodiac belt. I was shocked. I've dedicated myself to evolving Astrology for the New Age ever since then. Let those with the ears to hear, hear. Take what resonates. Leave the rest.
